The Diocesan Chancellery hereby announces that it will be phasing out, and eventually closing, its Facebook page, after which it will exclusively employ the Diocesan Telegram Channel for the distribution of up-to-date news, live content, announcements and materials supplemental to those provided on its web site.
Those who currently use the Facebook page, and wish to continue to be notified directly of new materials from the Diocese and its parishes, are encouraged to subscribe to the official Telegram Channel (@ROCORinEurope), which can be accessed by the free Telegram app on any smartphone, tablet, or in desktop computer versions. The Telegram environment allows the Diocese to convey information easily to all who wish to receive it, without requiring subscribers to be exposed to the melee and hubris of the ‘social media’ environment, which our Bishop is keen for the faithful to avoid as much as possible.
