The clergy of the Diocese of Great Britain and Western Europe are preparing to gather for their annual Clergy Pastoral Convocation, which will take place this year from 22nd-25th November at the Church of the Nativity of Christ and St Nicholas in Florence, Italy.
As a special feature of this year’s pastoral gathering, the First Hierarch of the Church Abroad, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York will join the ruling Bishop, His Grace Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, and the Vicar Bishop of the Diocese, His Grace Bishop Alexander of Vevey, for the three-day programme of Divine Services, spiritual talks and pastoral instruction.
The annual Clergy Convocation is a regular event in the life of the Diocese, providing its Priests and Deacons the treasured opportunity to gather together in fraternity, to be strengthened in their pastoral works through instruction and counsel from their archpastors and from one another. This year’s convocation will mark the first visit of Metropolitan Nicholas to the territory of the Diocese since his election as First Hierarch in September 2022.
During the period of the clergy retreat, a meeting of the Diocesan Assembly will also take place, with the participation of other members via video-conferencing.

Духовенство Великобританской и Западно-Европейской епархии готовится собраться на ежегодный пастырский совещание духовенства, который состоится в этом году с 22 по 25 ноября в храме Рождества Христова и св. Николая во Флоренции, Италия.
Особенностью пастырского собрания этого года станет то, что к правящему архиерею, Преосвященнейшему епископу Лондонскому и Западно-Европейскому Иринею и викарию епархии, Преосвященнейшему епископу Вевейскому Александру, присоединится Высокопреосвященнейший митрополит Восточно-Американский и Нью-Йоркский Николай, Первоиерарх Зарубежной Церкви. Его Высокопреосвященство вместе с другими архиереями и духовенством примет участие в трехдневной программе богослужений, духовных бесед и пастырского наставления.
Пастырский совещание является регулярным событием в жизни епархии, предоставляя ее священникам и диаконам драгоценную возможность собраться вместе в братстве, укрепиться в своем пастырском деле через наставления и советы своих архипастырей и друг друга. Совещание в этом году станет первым визитом митрополита Николая на территорию епархии после его избрания Первоиерархом в сентябре 2022 года.
В период выезда духовенства также состоится заседание Епархиального собрания с участием остальных членов посредством видеоконференцсвязи.

Le clergé du diocèse de Grande-Bretagne et d’Europe occidentale se prépare à se réunir pour sa convocation pastorale annuelle du clergé, qui aura lieu cette année du 22 au 25 novembre à l’église de la Nativité du Christ et de Saint-Nicolas à Florence, en Italie.
Comme particularité du rassemblement pastoral de cette année, le Premier Hiérarque de l’Église à l’étranger, Son Éminence le métropolite Nicolas d’Amérique de l’Est et de New York, se joindra à l’évêque dirigeant, Son Excellence l’évêque Irénée de Londres et d’Europe occidentale, et au vicaire du diocèse, Son Excellence l’évêque Alexandre de Vevey, pour le programme de trois jours de services divins, d’entretiens spirituels et d’instruction pastorale.
La convocation du clergé est un événement régulier dans la vie du diocèse, offrant à ses prêtres et diacres l’occasion précieuse de se réunir en fraternité, d’être renforcés dans leurs œuvres pastorales grâce à l’instruction et aux conseils de leurs archipasteurs et les uns des autres. La convocation de cette année marquera la première visite du métropolite Nicolas sur le territoire du diocèse depuis son élection comme Premier Hiérarque en septembre 2022.
Pendant la période de retraite du clergé, une réunion de l’Assemblée diocésaine aura également lieu, avec la participation d’autres membres par vidéoconférence.
