Following on the first three talks, held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings last week, tonight the Diocese will host its fourth live-streamed Lenten Talk with Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, provided on account of the great number of people throughout our Diocese, and indeed the world, who are currently housebound under restrictions put in place by various local governments in response to the coronavirus COVID-19.

Tonight, Monday 30th March, the fourth talk will take place at 7.00 p.m. British Summer Time, live on-line. The talk will be broadcast via the Facebook Livestream feature, via the Diocese’s official Facebook page.

The theme of tonight’s Lenten talk will be ‘How to Quiet the Mind: Practicing the Discernment of Thoughts.’

Live talks will also take place on Wednesday and Friday evenings of the present week (1st and 3rd April), all at the same time of 7.00 p.m. British time. A reminder that British Summer Time began on Sunday 29th, meaning the clocks in the United Kingdom have now shifted ahead by one hour. This means our local timezone is now eight hours ahead of Pacific time in the USA, and five hours ahead of Eastern.
