ВОСКРЕСЕНЬЕ 20 МАРТА / 2 АПРЕЛЯ 2023: В Неделю преп. Марии Египетской Кресто-Воздвиженский собор в Женеве, Швейцария, с радостью принял драгоценные мощи 77 преподобных Киево-Печерской Лавры и других мест, которые были вновь собраны в большом мощевике, специально предназначенном для этой цели, который сделает мощи этих святых доступными для вечного почитания благочестивых верующих епархии.
По этому благословенному случаю священнослужителями Женевского собора было распространено следующее уведомление:
Дорогие братья и сестры,
С большой радостью в сердце и на устах сообщаем вам, что сегодня, 02 апреля 2023 года, в 5 неделю Великого поста в честь праздника преподобной Марии Египетской мы всем храмом встретили мощевик со Святыми Мощами. По благословению нашего настоятеля Преосвященнейшего Иринея, епископа Лондонского и Западно-Европейского, по милости Божьей, нескончаемыми молитвами и огромными усилиями духовенства Кресто. Воздвиженского Собора и при вашей посильной жертвенной помощи, мы осуществили это благое дело и сегодня каждый из вас может прийти в храм, поклониться и приложиться к Святым Мощам!
В Мощевике находятся 77 частичек мощей Киево-Печерских святых, а также святые мощи св. Иоанна Крестителя, преподобной Марии Египетской, великомученика Дмитрия Солунского и великомученика Георгия Победоносца. Мы с большой радостью, с большой благодарностью принимаем их у нас, особенно в эти тяжелые для всех нас времена. Как никогда все наши мысли и молитвы обо всех братьях Киево-Печерской Лавры и её настоятеле, митрополите Павле! Мы всем сердцем молимся о мире между нашими народами и верим, что Святые и Преподобные помогут укрепить нас и быть едиными во Христе!

DIMANCHE 20 MARS / 2 AVRIL 2023: Le dimanche de sainte Marie d’Egypte, la cathédrale de l’Exaltation de la Croix à Genève, en Suisse, a reçu avec joie les précieuses reliques de 77 des saints de Kiev et d’autres lieux, qui ont été nouvellement consacrées dans un grand reliquaire expressément commandé à cet effet, et qui mettra ses reliques à la disposition de la vénération perpétuelle des pieux fidèles du diocèse.

Chers frères et sœurs en Christ,
C’est avec une grande joie que nous vous informons qu’aujourd’hui, le 02 avril, lors de la cinquième semaine de Grand Carême, en l’honneur de la vénérable sainte Marie d’Egypte, nous avons accueilli un reliquaire si longtemps attendu. Par la grâce de Dieu, avec la bénédiction de Son Excellence Irénée, évêque de Londres et d’Europe occidentale, avec les prières incessantes et tous les grands efforts du clergé de la Cathédrale de l’Exaltation de la Sainte-Croix et grâce à vos dons généreux, nous avons pu réaliser ce grand projet et aujourd’hui, chacun d’entre vous peut venir à l’église pour vénérer les reliques et faire ces prières !
Le reliquaire contient 77 reliques de SAINTS DE KIEVO-PECHERSK, ainsi que de saintes reliques du prophète JEAN LE BAPTISTE, de la Vénérable SAINTE MARIE D’EGYPTE, des reliques du grand martyr SAINT DÉMÉTRIOS DE THESSALONIQUE et du grand martyr SAINT GEORGES, surnommé le «TROPÉOPHORE». Nous nous sentons très heureux et gratifiants de les accueillir et les avoir dans notre Cathédrale, surtout en ces temps difficiles pour nous tous. Comme jamais auparavant, toutes nos pensées et nos prières vont à tous les frères de la Laure de Kievo-Pechersk et à son abbé, le métropolite Pavel ! Nous prions de tout cœur pour la paix entre nos peuples et croyons que tous les Saints pourront nous entendre et nous aider à rester forts et unis dans le Christ !

SUNDAY 20 MARCH / 2 APRIL 2023: On the Sunday of St Mary of Egypt, the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Cross in Geneva, Switzerland, received with joy the precious relics of 77 of the saints of Kiev and of other places, which have been newly-enshrined in a large reliquary expressly commissioned for the purpose, and which will make these relics available for the perpetual veneration of the pious faithful of the Diocese.
The following notice was circulated by the clergy of the Geneva Cathedral on the blessed occasion:
Dear brothers and sisters,
With great joy in our hearts and on our lips, we inform you that today, 2nd April 2023, the Fifth Sunday of Great Lent, in honour of St Mary of Egypt, we received into the Cathedral a reliquary containing a multitude of Holy Relics. With the blessing of our rector, His Grace Irenei, Bishop of London and Western Europe, by the grace of God, with endless prayers and the great efforts of the clergy of the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Cross and the sacrificial help received by so many of you, we implemented the project to commission this reliquary, and from today it is possible for each of you to come to the temple, bow and venerate these sacred relics!
In the reliquary there are 77 particles of the relics of the Kiev-Caves saints, as well as the holy relics of the prophet and Forerunner John the Baptist, our Mother the Venerable Mary of Egypt, the Great Martyr Dimitrius of Thessalonica and the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious. We welcome them with great joy, with tremendous gratitude, especially in these difficult times for all of us. As never before, all our thoughts and prayers are about all the brothers of the Kiev-Caves Lavra and its rector, Metropolitan Pavel. We pray with all our hearts for peace amongst our peoples and believe that the Saints will help strengthen us to be united in Christ!
