13 SEPTEMBER 2022: By the Grace of the Holy Spirit, at its meeting on the first day of the present Council of Bishops of the Church Abroad, His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan was elected as primate, Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Church Abroad. Axios!

A Decree containing the new liturgical commemorations to be used within our Diocese from the date of his enthronement (this Sunday 5/18 September) is found below.

(In the remaining days of this week, the same formula of commemoration may be used, inserting the words ‘newly-elected First Hierarch…’)

13 СЕНТЯБРЯ 2022 г.: Благодатью Святого Духа на заседании в первый день настоящего Архиерейского Собора Зарубежной Церкви Преосвященнейший епископ Манхеттенский Николай избран Предстоятелем, митрополитом Восточно-Америкаским и Нью-Йоркским, Первоиерархом Русской Зарубежной Церкви. Аксиос!

Указ, содержащий новые литургические поминовения, которые будут использоваться в нашей епархии со дня его интронизации (в это воскресенье 5/18 сентября), находится ниже.

(В остальные дни этой недели можно использовать ту же формулу поминовения, вставляя слова «новоизбранного Первоиерарха…»)
