15 / 28 AUGUST 2023: The Diocese is pleased to announce the expansion of the collection of on-line prayers for personal use, provided in the Personal Prayers section of its web site, with the addition of several new materials intended to make it easier for all Orthodox Christians to properly prepare to receive Holy Communion, especially when they are travelling or might otherwise have limited access to their normal prayer books.

Added this week are:

  • The ‘Order of Preparation for Holy Communion’, which is prayed by all Orthodox Christians in preparation to receive the Divine Mysteries.
  • The ‘Canons for Holy Communion’ (to Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the Theotokos, and to the Guardian Angel), which some add to their rule, for a yet fuller preparation.
  • Included with the Canons, the Akathist Hymn to our Sweetest Lord Jesus Christ, and the Akathist Hymn to the Theotokos (in addition to other Akathist Hymns already provided, such as those to the Kursk Icon, to the ‘Joy of All Who Sorrow’ icon, etc.).
  • The Prayers of Thanksgiving after Receiving Holy Communion.

These resources are all available on the Personal Prayers index, which faithful can bookmark for easy access. All the prayers are available in English, Church Slavonic, and French.

15 / 28 АВГУСТА 2023 г.: Наша епархия рада сообщить о расширении коллекции онлайн-молитв для личного пользования, представленной в разделе «Молитвы» на своем сайте, с добавлением нескольких новых материалов, призванных облегчить всем православным христианам должным образом подготовиться к принятию Святого Причастия, особенно когда они путешествуют или иным образом могут иметь ограниченный доступ к своим обычным молитвословам.

На этой неделе добавлены:

  • «Последование ко Святому Причащению», которое используют все православные христиане, готовясь к причастию Святых Христовых Тайн.
  • «Каноны ко Святому Причащению» (умилительный ко Господу нашему Иисусу Христу, молебный ко Пресвятой Богородице и Ангелу Хранителю), которые некоторые добавляют к своему правилу для еще более полной подготовки.
  • В состав Канонов входят акафист Сладчайшему Господу нашему Иисусу Христу и акафист Пресвятой Богородице (в дополнение к другим уже предоставленным акафистам, например, Курской иконе, иконе «Всех скорбящих Радость» , и т. д.).

15 / 28 AOÛT 2023 : Le diocèse est heureux d’annoncer l’élargissement de la collection de prières en ligne à usage personnel, proposée dans la section «Prières personnelles» de notre site Web, avec l’ajout de plusieurs nouveaux matériels destinés à permettre à tous les chrétiens orthodoxes de se préparer correctement à recevoir la Sainte Communion, en particulier lorsqu’ils voyagent ou qu’ils pourraient autrement avoir un accès limité à leurs livres de prières normaux.

Sont ajoutés cette semaine :

  • «Office avant la Sainte Communion», prié par tous les chrétiens orthodoxes en préparation à recevoir les divins Mystères.
  • Les «Canons avant la Sainte Communion» (à Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, à la Théotokose et à l’Ange Gardien), que certains ajoutent à leur règle, pour une préparation encore plus complète.
  • Inclus avec les Canons, «l’hymne acathiste à notre très doux Seigneur Jésus-Christ» et «l’hymne acathiste à la Théotokose» (en plus d’autres hymnes acathistes déjà fournis, comme ceux à l’icône de Koursk, à l’icône «Joie de tous les affligés» , etc.).
  • Les «Prières après la Sainte Communion».

Ces ressources sont toutes disponibles dans l’index des prières personnelles, que les fidèles peuvent mettre en signet pour un accès facile. Toutes les prières sont disponibles en français, en slavon de l’Église et en anglais.
