LE 1 / 14 JUILLET 2023 : Le jour des saints Anargyres Côme et Damien, a été célébrée à Rochelles, Périgny dans l’Allier, la fête patronale de l’église des saint Apôtres Pierre et Paul, deux jours après le jour de mémoire des deux saints Coryphées des Apôtres, de manière à rassembler ceux qui les fêtaient dans leur propre paroisse.
Une bonne trentaine de fidèles se sont réunis dans cette petite église en pleine campagne pour participer aux offices concélébrés par les archiprêtres Quentin de Castelbajac (de notre paroisse à Lyon), Alexis Meisman (de la paroisse à Belfort, Archevêché parisien), le prêtre Alexandre Machtalère (de la paroisse à Clamart, (diocèse de Chersonèse) et le protodiacre Alexandre Boldyreff (de notre paroisse à Meudon). Pendant la Liturgie, des prières ont été élevées pour le repos de l’Archiprêtre Michel et Matoushka Christiane de Castelbajac, qui ont si longtemps prié et oeuvré en ce lieu.
Après le service d’intercession et la procession en l’honneur des Saints Apôtres et des Saints Anangyres, une grande table chaleureuse sous les arbres a permis à tous de se retrouver et de se restaurer.

1 / 14 JULY 2023: On the day of the memory of the Holy Unmercenary Healers Sts Cosmas and Damian, in the week of the Feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, their sacred memory was kept in the small countryside church dedicated to their honour in Rochelles, Périgny, France. It has been for many years the tradition that after the Great Feast of the Apostles is kept in the nearby larger parishes (such as Lyon, Meudon), two days later the Divine Liturgy is served in this small retreat church, much beloved of Orthodox faithful in the region.
Some thirty worshippers gathered in the small temple in the middle of the countryside to participate in the Divine Services, concelebrated by the Archpriests Quentin de Castelbajac (of the Diocese’s Lyon Parish) and Alexis Meisman (of the Belfort Parish of the Parisian Archdiocese), the Priest Alexander Machtalère (of the Clamart Parish of the Korsun Diocese) and the Protodeacon Alexandre Boldyreff (of the Diocese’s parish in in Meudon). During the Liturgy, prayers were lifted up for the repose of Archpriest Michael and Matushka Christiane de Castelbajac, the parents of Archpriest Quentin, who established the small church and prayed and worked in the region for so long.
After a moleben and Cross procession in honour of the Holy Apostles and the Holy Unmercenaries, a large table was set under the trees, permitting everyone to meet and eat together.
