By resolution of the Holy Sobor of Bishops, on 7th / 20th January 2019 Archimandrite Alexander (Echevarria) will be consecrated to the Holy Episcopacy as Bishop of Vevey, Vicar of the Western European Diocese. The Divine Services of the canonical election and consecration of Bishop-Elect Alexander will take place at the Cathedral of the Elevation of the Holy Cross in Geneva, Switzerland, according to the following schedule:
