As previously announced on this web site, our programme of spiritual talks with our Diocesan Hierarch, Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, will resume in December. The first such talk will take place at 7.00 p.m. on Thursday, 12th December 2019 in the Diocesan Cathedral in London, 57 Harvard Road, Chiswick, London W4 4ED. The talk will be held in the Cathedral’s Lower Church.
The talk is open to all and will comprise twenty or thirty minutes of words from His Grace on the theme “Right and Wrong, Good and Evil: Realities in the Spiritual Life” — a topic central to the living-out of our lives in Christ and becoming more deeply formed in the living tradition of the Church.
Following the Bishop’s opening words, questions will be welcomed from all present. In general this question-and-answer period forms the heart of the these discussion evenings, with questions welcomed on all issues of Orthodox life, not simply those directly connected to the theme of the day.
The principal language of these discussions is English, though questions are welcomed also in Russian.
