His Grace Bishop Irenei has announced that from December a regular programme of spiritual talks and discussions will resume at the Diocesan Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God in London.

The Bishop established the custom of these talks whilst serving as Administrator of what was then the Diocese of Great Britain and Ireland, visiting several times per year from the USA (from 2017-2018), holding them in London and in various other parishes during his visits. Since arriving earlier this year in his role as Ruling Bishop of the expanded Diocese of Great Britain and Western Europe, the need to make initial archpastoral visitations to parishes across Europe has meant the holding of these talks has not been possible — however, from December His Grace intends to resume the custom on a fortnightly basis.
The talks are open to all and general comprise twenty or thirty minutes of words from His Grace on a spiritual theme central to the living-out of our lives in Christ and becoming more deeply formed in the living tradition of the Church, after which questions are welcomed from all present — and in general this question-and-answer period forms the heart of the discussions. The principal language of these discussions is English, though questions are welcomed also in Russian.
An initial schedule of talks will be announced here on the Diocesan web site in due course, and will also be maintained on the London Cathedral’s web site.
