Following on the first two talks, held on Monday and Wednesday evenings this week, tonight the Diocese will host its third live-streamed Lenten Talk with Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, provided on account of the great number of people throughout our Diocese, and indeed the world, who are currently housebound under restrictions put in place by various local governments in response to the coronavirus COVID-19.

Tonight, Friday 27th March, the Third talk will take place at 7.00 p.m. British Time, live on-line. The talk will be broadcast via the Facebook Livestream feature, via the Diocese’s official Facebook page.

The theme of the tonight’s second Lenten talk will be ‘Overcoming Judgement in the Heart: How to Love One’s Neighbour.’

For the purposes of future planning, His Grace has agreed to give live talks also on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings of the coming week (30th March, 1st and 3rd April), all at the same time of 7.00 p.m. British time. A reminder that British Summer Time starts on Sunday 29th March 2020, meaning the clocks in the United Kingdom will shift by one hour: for those connecting to these live events from other timezones, be aware that this may result in a differing number of hours’ difference between British time and your local time.
