13 / 26 DECEMBER 2023: In the midst of the holiday season, the London Cathedral Food Bank reports that it has surpassed 1,550 boxes of food distributed to date (a box is normally enough to support a family for two weeks).
In the month of December, there has been a 30% increase in demand at the Food Bank — but by God's grace it also has also been a month that saw substantial donations of food, including fresh produce that was swiftly distributed to those in need.
The faithful team of volunteers continues to work diligently to support this labour. All worshippers at the London Cathedral are encouraged to bring non-perishable food contributions with them on arrival at each service, to help supply the Food Bank with its necessary provisions.
