English:
To the Very Reverend and Reverend Clergy, Pious Monastics, and God-fearing Flock of the Church in Great Britain and Western Europe
Christ is born! Glorify Him!
From the depth of my heart I congratulate you with this mystical Feast. And on this day, I find that I feel a desire to say little else. What more is there to say, what more to proclaim, than the unsurpassable mystery of divine love contained in this small phrase? Christ our God is born: what more is there to hope for? What more to cherish? What more could be announced, to soften the hardness of our hearts? No, there is nothing greater than this: that our God would deign to dwell among us, to enact our salvation through His self-sacrificing love. Christ Who knows no heavenly birth is born in the flesh, that He Who knows no death might die and rise, and we who had no hope may confidently hope and trust and believe.
And so we do, and so I pray for each of you: that your hope may be firm, your belief without limit, your trust without fear, and your love made perfect. Christ is born, my dear ones. God is with us! Let us rejoice, and glorify Him!
I wish each of you, and your near and dear ones, every blessing of this festal season, and unworthily bestow the blessings of our newborn God.

Возлюбленным о Господе досточтимым пастырям, боголюбивому монашеству и верным чадам Церкви в Великобритании и Западной Европе
Возлюбленные о Христе: Христос раждается! Славите!
От глубины всего сердца поздравляю вас с этим дивным Праздником. И в этот день я желаю сказать или писать совсем немного. Что еще можно сказать, что еще можно провозгласить, кроме непревзойденной тайны Божественной любви, заключенной в этом кратком выражении? Христос, наш Бог, рождается: что может быть больше этой надежды? Что может быть дороже этой радости? Христос рождается: что еще можно возвещать, чтобы смягчить ожесточенность наших сердец? Нет, нет ничего величественнее этого: что наш Бог соизволил обитать среди нас, совершая наше спасение через Свою жертвенную любовь. Христос, Который на Небесах не знает рождения, рождается во плоти, чтобы Тот, Кто не знает смерти, умер и воскрес, и чтобы мы, не имевшие надежды, могли с уверенностью надеяться, верить и уповать.
И так мы делаем, и я молюсь за каждого из вас: чтобы ваша надежда была твердой, ваша вера — безграничной, ваше упование — бесстрашным, а ваша любовь — совершенной. Христос рождается, мои дорогие. С нами Бог! Возрадуемся и прославим Его!
В эти праздничные дни желаю каждому из вас и вашим близким всяческих благодеяний и, недостойный, призываю на Вас благословение новорожденного Христа Бога нашего,

Bien-aimés en Christ : Le Christ est né ! Glorifiez-Le !
Du fond de mon cœur, je vous félicite pour cette fête mystique. En ce jour, je ressens le désir de garder le silence. Que pourrait-on dire de plus, ou proclamer de plus grand, que l’insurpassable mystère de l’amour divin contenu dans cette simple phrase ? Christ notre Dieu est né : que pourrait-on espérer de plus ? Que pourrait-on chérir davantage ? Quelle annonce pourrait-elle être plus douce pour adoucir la dureté de nos cœurs ? Non, il n’y a rien de plus grand que cela : que notre Dieu ait daigné habiter parmi nous, accomplir notre salut par Son amour sacrificiel.
Christ, qui n’a pas de naissance céleste, naît dans la chair, afin que Celui qui ne connaît pas la mort puisse mourir et ressusciter, et que nous, qui étions sans espérance, puissions désormais espérer avec confiance, croire et nous fier à Lui.
Et ainsi nous le faisons, et ainsi je prie pour chacun de vous : que votre espérance soit ferme, que votre foi soit sans limites, que votre confiance soit sans crainte et que votre amour soit rendu parfait. Christ est né, mes chers. Dieu est avec nous ! Réjouissons-nous et glorifions-Le !
Je souhaite à chacun de vous, ainsi qu’à vos proches et à tous ceux qui vous sont chers, toute grâce en cette période de fête, et j’accorde humblement la bénédiction de notre Dieu nouveau-né.
