Our Cathedral is financed solely by the members of the Parish and through private donations. We receive no funding from any state, public, or patriarchal organisations.

Many faithful and visitors, not knowing this, believe that external funding supports the many activities of the Cathedral and its life, but in actuality we rely entirely on the giving of our faithful to support our clergy, the maintenance and beautification of the building and grounds, the support of the choir director and singers, to fund our youth activities and missionary works, and to cover all the everyday running expenses of the Parish, including heating, lighting and water.

The Cathedral truly needs your help! We ask every faithful parishioner to please consider setting up a regular monthly donation, even if it be only a small amount: this regular income helps the Cathedrla to plan and budget its expenses, permitting it to fulfil its spiritual works. You can do this by filling out a Standing Order form, or establishing a Standing Order directly through your bank’s app or on-line banking service.

If you are UK taxpayer, we urge you even more strongly to consider signing a Gift Aid declaration, which takes no more than a few minutes and which enables the Parish to receive a tax rebate on every donation you make to the Cathedral, without any additional cost to you.

Your help, no matter how large or small, will give us an opportunity not just to finance the Cathedral, but also to continue developing our spiritual, cultural and educational activity your benefit and the benefit of your children.
