4 / 17 DECEMBER 2025: The feastday of the Great-martyr St Barbara, the Altar Feast of the Church in Vevey, was solemnly marked by Divine Services headed by His Grace Bishop Alexander, the Reverend Priest Aviv Saliou-Diallo, the Very Reverend Protodeacon Michel Vernaz, and a host of guests in clerical rank.
The faithful of the historic parish assembled with their clergy to honour their heavenly protectress, St Barbara, and to partake of the Divine Mysteries of Christ at the festal Divine Liturgy.
Following the Divine Services, a Cross-procession was held around the beautiful temple, and the faithful partook of a festal meal.
Holy St Barbara, pray to God for us!

4 / 17 ДЕКАБРЯ 2025 г.: День памяти святой великомученицы Варвары — престольный праздник храма в Веве — был торжественно отмечен богослужениями, возглавленными епископом Александром, в сослужении священника Авива Салиу-Диалло, протодиакона Михаила Верна и сонма приглашенных клириков.
Верные чада исторического прихода собрались вместе со своим духовенством, дабы почтить свою Небесную Покровительницу, святую Варвару, и приобщиться Божественных Христовых Таин за праздничной Божественной литургией.
По окончании богослужений состоялся крестный ход вокруг прекрасного храма, после чего верные приняли участие в праздничной трапезе.
Святая великомученица Варвара, моли Бога о нас!

4 / 17 DECEMBRE 2025: En la fête de sainte Barbara la megalo-martyre — fête patronale de l’église de Vevey — les offices divins ont été solennellement célébrés sous la présidence de Son Excellence l’évêque Alexandre, concélébrant avec le père Aviv Saliou-Diallo, le très révérend protodiacre Michel Vernaz, ainsi qu’un nombre de clercs invités.
Les fidèles de cette paroisse historique se sont rassemblés avec leur clergé afin d’honorer leur céleste Protectrice, sainte Barbara, et de participer aux divins Mystères du Christ lors de la Divine Liturgie festive.
À l’issue des offices, une procession a eu lieu autour de la magnifique église, suivie d’un repas festif partagé par les fidèles.
Sainte Barbara, prie Dieu pour nous !
