6 / 19 DECEMBER 2024: The Diocesan Youth Conference has begun in London. Gathering on the evening of the Feast of the St Nicholas the Wonderworker, more than 80 youth from across Europe have assembled in the British Capital for five days, for a residential gathering under the theme ‘Serving God and Each Other’.

Amongst daily Divine Services, activities, excursions, and many social events amongst fellow Orthodox, participants in the conference will hear talks by Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, Archpriest Pavel Tzvetkoff of the Geneva Cathedral, Archpriest Quentin de Castelbajac of the Lyon Parish in France, Priest Mark Tatum-Smith of the Mettingham Parish, Priest Aleksandr Groves of the St Leonard’s Parish, and others.

The young people will also have opportunities to further their interest in Church singing, and will sing at the Divine Services of the weekend.

6 / 19 ДЕКАБРЯ 2024 г.: В Лондоне начался епархиальный молодежный съезд. Вечером праздника святителя Николая чудотворца более 80 молодых людей со всей Европы собрались в британской столице на пятидневный съезд, проходящий под темой «Служение Богу и друг другу».

В рамках конференции, среди ежедневных Богослужений, мероприятий, экскурсий и множества встреч с единоверцами, участники услышат доклады епископа Лондонского и Западно-Европейского Иринея, протоиерея Павла Цветкова из Женевского кафедрального собора, протоиерея Квентина де Кастельбажака из прихода в Лионе (Франция), священника Марка Татум-Смита из прихода в Меттингеме, священника Александра Гроувса из прихода в Сент-Леонарде и других.

Участники также получат возможность углубить свои навыки церковного пения и примут участие в пении на богослужениях выходных дней.

6 / 19 DÉCEMBRE 2024 : Réunis le soir de la fête de saint Nicolas le Thaumaturge, plus de 80 jeunes venus de toute l’Europe se sont rassemblés dans la capitale britannique pour un séjour de cinq jours sous le thème : «Servir Dieu et les uns les autres».

Au programme de cette conférence figurent des offices divins quotidiens, des activités variées, des excursions et de nombreux événements sociaux réunissant de jeunes orthodoxes. Les participants auront l’occasion d’assister à des interventions de Son Excellence l’Évêque Irénée de Londres et d’Europe occidentale, du Très Révérend Archiprêtre Paul Tzvetkoff de la cathédrale de Genève, du Très Révérend Archiprêtre Quentin de Castelbajac de la paroisse de Lyon en France, du Révérend Père Mark Tatum-Smith de la paroisse de Mettingham, du Révérend Père Alexandre Groves de la paroisse de St Leonard, ainsi que d’autres intervenants.

Les jeunes auront également la possibilité d’approfondir leur intérêt pour le chant liturgique et chanteront lors des offices divins du week-end.
