21 NOVEMBER / 4 DECEMBER 2025: On the evening of the Feast of the Entry of the Theotokos into the Temple, the pan-Orthodox youth of greater London assembled together at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God in the presence of the wonderworking Kursk-root icon.

At the initiative of the Cathedral’s St Mary Magdalene Youth Group, youth from the Serbian Orthodox Diocese, Antiochian Orthodox Diocese, Greek Orthodox Diocese, Sourozh Diocese and other jurisdictions were invited to the Cathedral for a special gathering during the icon’s visit to London. There, in the presence of the ‘Guide of the Orthodox Diaspora’ — of which all present were a part — they lifted up their prayers before the sacred image, learned of its history, and enjoyed fellowship amongst one another as Orthodox youth in the British Isles.
