6 / 19 JANUARY 2024: On the Great Feast of the Baptism of Christ, His Grace Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe headed the Divine Services at the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Cross in Geneva, Switzerland. Co-serving His Grace were Archpriest Pavel Tzvetkoff and Archpriest Emilian Pochinok, together with Archdeacon Dometian (Redko) and Hierodeacon Meletius (Bekker), visiting from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
On the eve of the Feast the Royal Hours were served in the morning, followed by Vespers and the Divine Liturgy with the first blessing of Waters. In the evening, Vladyka Irenei presided at the festal Vigil, and on Friday morning the Hierarch was greeted at the porch and headed the Divine Liturgy of Theophany. During the Hours before the Liturgy, the Cathedral Reader Antoine Barros was elevated to the rank of Subdeacon. Later, after the consecration of the Holy Gifts, Subdeacon Antoine was ordained as Deacon, to serve in the Cathedral community.
The Cathedral was filled with an enormous number of faithful who came to receive of the Divine Mysteries of Christ on the occasion of the Great Feast, after which the clergy celebrated the Great Blessing of Waters and the faithful partook thereof, taking the holy water home to bless their homes and families.
The Bishop’s visit, which had begun earlier in the week, also involved his chairing of a meeting of the Parish Council, as well as the Council of the Cathedral Foundation, together with other meetings with clergy and faithful, and hospital visits to ill parishioners.

6 / 19 ЯНВАРЯ 2024 г.: В великий праздник Крещения Господня Преосвященнейший епископ Лондонский и Западно-Европейский Ириней возглавил богослужения в Кресто-Воздвиженском соборе в Женеве, Швейцария. Его Преосвященству сослужили протоиерей Павел Цветков, протоиерей Емилиан Починок, и архидиакон Дометиан (Редко), а также иеродиакон Мелетий (Беккер), клирик Украинской Православной Церкви.
Накануне праздника в Богоявленский сочельник утром были отслужены Царские Часы, затем вечерня и Божественная литургия с первым водосвятием. Вечером Владыка Ириней возглавил праздничное бдение, а в пятницу 6 / 19 января утром в сам день Богоявления Господня Правящий архиерей был встречен на паперти собора и возглавил Божественную литургию. На часах перед Литургией чтец собора Антоний Баррос был возведен в сан иподиакона. Позднее, после освящения Святых Даров, иподиакон Антоний был рукоположен в сан диакона, для служения в соборной общине.
По случаю великого праздника храм был наполнен огромным количеством верующих, пришедших приобщиться Святых Христовых Тайн, после чего духовенство совершило великое освящение воды, и верующие причащаясь Великой Агиасмы, понесли святую воду домой.
Визит архиерея, начавшийся ранее на неделе, также включал в себя председательствование на заседании Приходского совета, а также Совета Фонда русской церкви в Женеве, другие встречи с духовенством и верующими, а также посещение госпиталей с больными прихожанами.

6 / 19 JANVIER 2024 : À l'occasion de la grande fête du Baptême du Christ, Son Excellence, l'évêque Irénée de Londres et d'Europe occidentale a présidé les services divins à la cathédrale de l'Exaltation de la Croix à Genève, en Suisse. Les archiprêtres Pavel Tzvetkoff, Emilian Pochinok, et ainsi que l'archidiacre Dometian (Redko) ont concélébré avec Mgr Irénée, ainsi que le hiérodiacre Meletius (Bekker), venus de l'Église orthodoxe ukrainienne
La veille de la fête, les Heures Royales étaient célébréés le matin, suivies des Vêpres et de la Divine Liturgie avec la première bénédiction des eaux. Le soir, Vladyka Irénée a présidé les vigiles festive et le vendredi matin, le hiérarque a été accueilli sous le porche et a dirigé la Divine Liturgie de la Théophanie. Durant les heures précédant la liturgie, le lecteur de la cathédrale Antoine Barros a été élevé au rang de sous-diacre. Plus tard, après la consécration des Saints Dons, le sous-diacre Antoine fut ordonné diacre pour servir dans la communauté de la Cathédrale.
La Cathédrale était remplie d'un très grand nombre de fidèles venus recevoir les Divins Mystères du Christ à l'occasion de la Grande Fête, après quoi le clergé célébrait la Grande Bénédiction des Eaux et les fidèles y participaient, emportant l'eau bénite chez eux.
La visite de l'évêque, qui avait commencé plus tôt dans la semaine, impliquait également la présidence d'une réunion du Conseil paroissial, du Conseil de Fondation de la Cathédrale, ainsi que d'autres réunions avec le clergé et les fidèles, et des visites à l'hôpital des paroissiens malades.
