Hello, everyone!
We have some upcoming events and activities to share:

  1. Film Screening and Discussion:
    Join us on Thursday, August 24, at 7:00 PM in the church house library for a screening of the Soviet film “Ascension” (1976). Following that, there will be an engaging discussion about the movie.
  2. Grave Cleaning at Brompton Cemetery:
    On Saturday, August 26, at 10:00 AM, we’ll gather next to the North Lodge Cafe at Brompton Cemetery. We’ll be cleaning the graves of priest Nicholas (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/37597177/nicholas-alexeevich-behr) and another grave (to be decided later). Please bring your working equipment, and if needed, soil and flowers. Also I’ve asked them already if we can take some tools from the shed next to the church.
  3. Temple Cleanup for the Feast of the Dormition:
    Also on August 26, we’re seeking assistance in cleaning the temple from leaves and debris before the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos on Monday. This task won’t take more than an hour. Your help is greatly appreciated, especially since we won’t have additional assistance on that day. The men power of the parish will be mainly involved in setting up a prosphora oven.

У нас есть несколько предстоящих мероприятий и активностей, которыми мы хотели бы поделиться:

  1. Просмотр фильма и последующее обсуждение:
    Присоединяйтесь к нам в четверг, 24 августа, в 19:00 в библиотеке церковного дома на просмотр советского фильма “Вознесение” (1976 года). После фильма состоится интересное обсуждение картины.
  2. Уборка могил на кладбище Бромптон:
    В субботу, 26 августа, в 10.00 встречаемся рядом с North Lodge Cafe на кладбище Brompton для уборки могил: священника Николая (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/37597177/nicholas-alexeevich-behr) и второй могилы (решим позже). Для уборки понадобится принести рабочий инвентарь, возможно землю (будет уточнено), и цветы. Какие-то интрументы можно взять из сарая рядом с храмом (будет уточнено).
  3. Уборка храма к Празднику Успения Пресвятой Богородицы:
    В этот же день, 26 августа, нам очень нужна будет любая помощь по уборки территории храма от листьев и остального мусора перед праздником Успения Пресвятой Богородицы. Все дело займет не больше часа. Очень просим помочь, так как других помощников в этот день не будет. Будет установка печи для просфор, где задействованы все мужчины прихода.
