27 - 29 ДЕКАБРЯ 2024 г.: В Лейзане (кантон Во, Швейцария) состоялся второй молодежный съезд епархии в декабре. Первый съезд прошел в Лондоне с 19 по 23 декабря, а второй проходил с 27 по 29 декабря в заснеженных горах Швейцарских Альп.
По Благословению Преосвященнейшего епископа Лондонского и Западно-Европейского Иринея, и под руководством протоиерея Емилиана Починок, клирик Крестовоздвиженского кафедрального собора г. Женева, открытие съезда прошло в пятницу 27 декабря в часовне в честь великомученика и целителя Пантелеймона в альпийской деревне Лейзан. Несмотря на то, что места в шале были ограничены, более 40 молодых участников из Швейцарии и других стран приняли в нем участие.
Протоиерей Емилиан пишет:
«Для православной молодежи была приготовлена разнообразная программа мероприятий. Большой акцент был сделан на то, чтобы молодые люди почувствовали, что они не одни в этом мире, что они играют большую роль в этой жизни, что от них много зависит и что в какой-то мере они могут изменить многие вещи в хорошем направлении.
«В течение трех дней участники съезда не только размышляли над разными проблемами и искали ответы на вопрос “Кто мы есть на самом деле?”, но также глубже узнавали себя, проводя время в молитве. Все желающие имели возможность побеседовать на духовные темы со священником, задать волнующие их вопросы, исповедоваться и принять участие в Богослужении,причастившись Божественных Христовых Тайн.
«По милости божьей до Литургии покрестили двух молодых оглашеных а по окончанию Божественной литургии была организована праздничная трапеза. Все эти дни молодые участники также активно занимались зимними видами спорта, покоряли местные горные вершины, любовались альпийскими пейзажами и много общались.
«Все участники нынешнего зимнего съезда выразили уверенность и надежду на новую встречу в Лейзане в следующем году.»

27 - 29 DÉCEMBRE 2024 : Le deuxième congrès de la jeunesse diocésaine de décembre s’est tenu à Leysin (canton de Vaud, Suisse). Le premier congrès s’est déroulé à Londres du 19 au 23, tandis que ce deuxième a eu lieu du 27 au 29 dans les montagnes enneigées des Alpes suisses.
Avec la bénédiction de Mgr Irénée, Évêque de Londres et d’Europe occidentale, et sous la direction de l’Archiprêtre Émilien Pochinok, prêtre de la cathédrale de l’Exaltation de la Croix à Genève, le congrès s’est ouvert le vendredi 27 décembre dans la chapelle du Grand Martyr et Guérisseur Panteleimon, située dans le village alpin de Leysin. Malgré l’espace limité du chalet, plus de 40 jeunes participants venus de Suisse et d’autres pays se sont réunis pour cet événement.
L’archiprêtre Émilien écrit :
« Un programme d'activités très varié a été préparé pour notre jeunesse orthodoxe. L'accent a été mis sur la nécessité de faire montrer aux jeunes qu'ils ne sont pas seuls dans ce monde, qu’ils ont un rôle essentiel à jouer dans la vie, que beaucoup de choses dépendent d’eux, et qu’à bien des égards, ils ont la capacité d’influencer positivement le monde qui les entoure.
« Au cours des trois jours de la retraite, les participants ont non seulement réfléchi à divers défis et cherché des réponses à la question : “Qui sommes-nous réellement ?”, mais ils ont également appris à mieux se connaître grâce au temps passé dans la prière. Tous ceux qui le souhaitaient ont eu l’opportunité de discuter de sujets spirituels avec un prêtre, de poser des questions urgentes, de se confesser et de participer aux offices divins, recevant les Saints Mystères du Christ.
« Par la miséricorde de Dieu, deux jeunes catéchumènes ont été baptisés avant la Divine Liturgie. Après la Liturgie, un repas festif a été organisé. Tout au long de la retraite, les participants ont également pris part à des sports d’hiver, escaladé les sommets locaux, admiré les paysages alpins et profité de nombreux moments de convivialité.
« Si Dieu le veut, ils souhaiteraient continuer ce travail spirituel indispensable et ont exprimé leur confiance et leur espoir de se retrouver à nouveau à Leysin l’année prochaine. »

27 - 29 DECEMBER 2024: The second youth congress of the Diocese to take place in December was held in Leysin (Canton of Vaud, Switzerland). The first gathering having place in London from 19 - 23 December, the second was held from 27 - 29 December in the snow-covered mountains of the Swiss Alps.
With the blessing of His Grace Irenei, Bishop of London and Western Europe, and under the guidance of Archpriest Emilian Pochinok, cleric of the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Cross in Geneva, the retreat opened on Friday, 27th December, at the chapel of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon in the Alpine village of Leysin. Despite the limited space in the chalet, more than 40 young participants from Switzerland and other countries gathered for the event.
Archpriest Emilian writes:
‘A diverse programme of activities was prepared for our Orthodox youth. Emphasis was placed on helping young people feel that they are not alone in this world, that they have an important role to play in life, that much depends on them, and that, in many ways, they are able positively to impact the world around them.
‘Over the three days of the retreat, participants not only reflected on various challenges and sought answers to the question, “Who are we truly?”, but also came to know themselves more deeply through time spent in prayer. All who wished had the opportunity to discuss spiritual topics with a priest, ask pressing questions, confess, and partake in the Divine Services, receiving the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
‘By God’s mercy, two young catechumens were baptised before the Liturgy. Following the Divine Liturgy, a festive meal was organised. Throughout the retreat, participants also actively engaged in winter sports, climbed local mountain peaks, marvelled at the Alpine landscapes, and enjoyed plenty of fellowship.
‘All the attendees of this year’s winter retreat expressed their confidence and hope for another gathering in Leysin next year.’
