16 / 29 SEPTEMBER 2024: On the Sunday after the Exaltation of the Cross, the Divine Services at the Geneva Cathedral were headed by His Grace Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe.
After the consecration of the Holy Gifts during the Divine Liturgy, the faithful Altar server of the Parish of St John the Confessor in Lyon, France, Subdeacon Murman-Gabriel Gigauri, was ordained to the Holy Diaconate.
Co-serving the Hierarch and the local clergy at the Divine Liturgy was the Rector of the Lyon Parish, the Very Reverend Archpriest Quentin de Castelbajac, who had travelled to Geneva together with other members of the parish in order to be present for the ordination of their new Deacon.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Vladyka Irenei congratulated the newly-ordained Deacon Murman-Gabriel, and delivered an exhortation on the necessity of piety of life and dedication to the Law of God, in serving Him in the diaconal rank. His Grace then congratulated Father Quentin and the members of the Lyon Parish, where the new Deacon will serve the ever-growing community of Orthodox Christians.

16 / 29 сентября 2024 г.: В Воскресенье по Воздвижении Креста, Божественную литургию в Женевском кафедральном соборе возглавил Преосвященнейший епископ Лондонский и Западно-Европейский Ириней.
После освящения Святых Даров во время Литургии, верный алтарник прихода святого Иоанна Исповедника в Лионе (Франция), иподиакон Мурман-Гавриил Гигаури, был рукоположен в диаконский сан.
Сослужил Архиерею и местному духовенству на Божественной литургии настоятель Лионского прихода, протоиерей Квентин де Кастельбажак, который прибыл в Женеву вместе с другими членами прихода, чтобы присутствовать на рукоположении их нового диакона.
По окончании Божественной литургии владыка Ириней поздравил новорукоположеного диакона Мурмана-Гавриила и произнес наставление о необходимости благочестия жизни и преданности Закону Божию в служении на диаконском посту. Затем Владыка поздравил отца Квентина и членов Лионского прихода, где новый диакон будет служить в постоянно растущем православном сообществе.

Après la consécration des Saints Dons durant la Divine Liturgie, le fidèle servant de l'Autel de la Paroisse de Saint Jean le Confesseur à Lyon, France, le Sous-diacre Murman-Gabriel Gigauri, a été ordonné au Diaconat.
Célébrant aux côtés de l'Hiérarque et du clergé local lors de la Divine Liturgie, se trouvait le Recteur de la Paroisse de Lyon, le Très Révérend Archiprêtre Quentin de Castelbajac, qui s'était rendu à Genève avec d'autres membres de la paroisse pour assister à l'ordination de leur nouveau Diacre.
À la fin de la Divine Liturgie, Monseigneur Irénée a félicité le nouveau Diacre Murman-Gabriel et a prononcé une exhortation sur la nécessité d'une vie pieuse et de dévotion à la Loi de Dieu, en servant dans le rang diaconal. Son Éminence a ensuite félicité le Père Quentin et les membres de la Paroisse de Lyon, où le nouveau Diacre servira la communauté grandissante de chrétiens orthodoxes.
