SUNDAY 2 / 15 SEPTEMBER 2024: On the Sunday of St Antony and Theodosy of the Kiev Caves, His Grace Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe met with the catechumens of the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God and Holy Royal Martyrs. The group, which numbers some 25 catechumens and 20 enquirers, has been under the instruction of Hieromonk Theodore throughout the year, and had prepared questions about the Christian Life to put before the Archpastor.

On the same day, prior to the Divine Liturgy, three of the catechumens received the illumination of Holy Baptism, and partook for the first time of the Life-creating Mysteries of Christ.

ВОСКРЕСЕНЬЕ, 2 / 15 СЕНТЯБРЯ 2024 г.: В воскресенье преподобных Антония и Феодосия Киево-Печерских Преосвященнейший епископ Лондонский и Западно-Европейский Ириней встретился с оглашенными кафедрального собора в Лондоне. Группа, в состав которой входит около 25 оглашенных и 20 интересующихся, проходила обучение под руководством иеромонаха Феодора в течение года и подготовила вопросы о христианской жизни для Архипастыря.

В тот же день, перед Божественной Литургией, трое оглашенных приняли просвещение Святого Крещения и впервые причастились животворящих Таин Христовых.
