19 ДЕКАБРЯ 2024 / 1 ЯНВАРЯ 2025 г.: С началом нового календарного года во французском городе По был основан второй приход. В ответ на просьбы верующих и в признание очевидной миссионерской необходимости усиления деятельности в этом регионе, где многие люди стремятся приблизиться к Богу и соединиться с Его Святой Церковью, новооснованный приход станет вторым в епархии, посвященным многолетнему Правящему архиерею нашей епархии — святителю Иоанну чудотворцу.
Долгосрочно существующий приход в По, посвященный святому благоверному князю Александру Невскому, продолжает свою духовную жизнь. Хотя в данный момент его храм закрыт на необходимые ремонтные работы, богослужебная деятельность возобновится сразу после завершения ремонта. Оба прихода будут в братской любви совместно служить верующим юго-западного региона Франции.
Новым приходом святителя Иоанна чудотворца будет руководить протоиерей Квентин де Кастельбажак, настоятель прихода в Лионе, а его непосредственное пастырское и литургическое окормление возложено на иерея Богдана Бабенко, который уже несколько лет служит во Франции.
В рамках новых миссионерских начинаний в регионе новый приход в настоящее время работает над поиском постоянного помещения для регулярных Богослужений. Тем временем все желающие посетить службы и молиться могут присоединиться к Telegram-группе прихода, где размещается информация о временных местах проведения Богослужений, расписание и другие объявления. 19 DÉCEMBRE 2024 / 1 JANVIER 2025 : Avec le début de la nouvelle année civile, une seconde paroisse a été fondée à Pau, en France. En réponse aux demandes des fidèles et en reconnaissance du besoin missionnaire évident d’une activité accrue dans cette région, où de nombreuses personnes cherchent à se rapprocher de Dieu et à s’unir à Son Église Sainte, la paroisse nouvellement créée devient également la deuxième de l’éparchie à être dédiée à saint Jean le Thaumaturge, ancien hiérarque de longue date et protecteur de notre diocèse.
La paroisse existante à Pau, dédiée à saint Alexandre Nevsky, poursuit sa vie spirituelle, et bien que, pour l’instant, son église soit fermée en raison de travaux structurels nécessaires, elle reprendra ses activités liturgiques dès que ces réparations seront achevées. Ensemble, les deux paroisses serviront, dans un esprit d’amour fraternel, les fidèles de la région du sud-ouest de la France.
La nouvelle paroisse de saint Jean est placée sous la supervision du Très Révérend Archiprêtre Quentin de Castelbajac, recteur de la paroisse de Lyon, tandis que son soin pastoral et liturgique immédiat sera assuré par le Révérend Père Bogdan Babenko, qui sert déjà en France depuis plusieurs années.
S’engageant dans de nouvelles initiatives missionnaires dans la région, la nouvelle paroisse travaille actuellement à trouver un lieu pour des offices divins réguliers. En attendant, ceux qui souhaitent visiter et prier peuvent rejoindre le groupe Telegram de la paroisse, où seront publiées les informations sur les lieux provisoires, le calendrier des offices et d’autres annonces. 19 DECEMBER 2024 / 1 JANUARY 2025: As the new calendar year begins, a second parish has been established in Pau, France. In response to requests from faithful, and in recognition of the evident missionary need for increased activity in the region, where many individuals seek to draw closer to God and be united to His Holy Church, the newly-established parish will also be the second in the Diocese to be dedicated to the long-serving Ruling Bishop of our Diocese, St John the Wonderworker.
The long-standing parish in Pau, dedicated to St Alexander Nevsky, continues in its spiritual life, and while for the moment its temple is closed for necessary structural repairs, it will return to liturgical activity as soon as those repairs are complete. The two parishes together will in fraternal love minister to the faithful of the region of south-western France.
The new Parish of St John has as its overseeing clergyman the Very Reverend Archpriest Quentin de Castelbajac, Rector of the Lyon Parish, and its immediate pastoral and liturgical care will be undertaken by the Reverend Priest Bogdan Babenko, who has already been serving in France for some years.
Undertaking is new missionary endeavours in the region, the new parish is currently working to secure a locale for regular Divine Services. In the meantime, those wishing to visit and pray may join the Parish’s Telegram group, where information on temporary locations, a schedule of services, and other announcements may be found.
